This 2 in 1 Environ Focus Care Youth+ Masque is specifically formulated with skin enhancement at the forefront. The ingredients within this masque are powerful and designed to provide a “facelift in a jar”.
Benefits of the Environ Focus Care Youth+ Masque
the masque contains a unique combination of three acids which work to stimulate the release of key cells and growth factors within the skin. The three acids are Mandelic, Asiatic and Lactic acid. all 3 acids are types of AHA which together help exfoliate and revive skin leading to a fresher appearance. Over time the masque claims to also be able to aid with the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
Mandelic acid is a large molecular weight acid and is less likely to cause irritation. Asciatic acid’s benefits revolve around calming rough, irritated skin and shielding the barrier. I often choose Lactic acid as an alternative AHA to glycolic acid. As it is less irritating and its moisturising properties are more suited to those with dry skin.

How to use The Masque
As I mentioned at the top of the post, this is a 2 in 1 masque. You can choose how to use the masque whether you wish to use it as a 10-20 minute masque or as an advanced overnight treatment.
To get the most out of your masque, you need to cleanse the skin thoroughly first. I would recommend double cleansing using a balm or oil cleanser as your first cleanse and followed by a non oil-based cleanser. Then directly apply the masque to the skin using the brush provided or your fingers smoothing all over the face but taking care to avoid the eyes.
Remove using Luke-warm water and personally I like to use a flannel too. This provides gentle physical exfoliation as well. Always follow using an SPF before leaving the house.

I think the masque has a nice thick consistency making it easy to apply and not messy. I really enjoyed the pump top dispenser it is easy to keep clean, and you are dispensed the right amount of product. Personally I found the masque a little tingly. And only kept the masque on for 15 minutes. But I did get fresh faced results. My skin did appear visibly brighter from just one use so I did enjoy it. I do however, suffer from sensitive skin and have to limit my acid use. I can definitely still use this masque but I would be inclined to use it only once or twice weekly to ensure no irritation occurs.
The Environ Focus Care Youth+ masque is £63 for 50ml . This is what I would expect to pay for a powerful product such as this. I did enjoy it and would recommend it if you are looking for an acid exfoliant which you can easily add to your current routine.
