TRESemme Pro-Pure Review

TRESemme Pro-Pure Review

Being a lover of all things beauty including hair care. I decided to give the latest affordable silicone and sulphate free collection from TRESemme a try. The Latest Pro-pure collection has been a long time coming in my opinion. Read on for my TRESemme Pro-pure Review.

TRESemme Pro-pure Collection

I am sure you have all tried a variety of the TRESemme products which have been on the market for years. I have always enjoyed the scent of their products. Since switching to the curly girl method about 2 years ago to try and enhance my natural curl pattern, I stopped using their regular products to go in search of something free of silicones, dyes and sulphates.

Finally they have answered my prayers and brought out 3 different versions of the pro-pure collection depending on your hair needs. There is the damage recovery collection (the one I tried), the vibrant colour and the airlight volume. All 3 feature beautiful scents but their their original signature scent which I hope they will launch soon. These products are designed to deliver salon quality results without the price tag and harshness of their regular shampoo and conditioners.

My Review

As you may have seen me mention above, the collection I tried was the TRESemme pro-pure damage recovery. I chose these because I already have a lot of volume, and I don’t colour my hair and hoped this collection would help add hydration and be gentle to my frizzy, wavy hair. The shampoo still creates a lovely and generous lather. This is important to me to help clear product build up and oily residue on my hair. The conditioner is also a nice thick consistency. And still has enough slip to help with detangling the lengths of my hair.

This shampoo and conditioner due resulted in soft, light and voluminous natural waves with a lovely silky and shiny finish to the hair too. I would 100% recommend this duo. They are a great price at just £5.99 each but they’re regularly on offer at Superdrug and Boots. Other silicone and sulphate free haircare that I enjoyed was the Umberto Giannini curl jelly collection, find my opinions on that collection here.
