I was going through all of my old blog posts just the other day and realised, even after all this time i had still not written about the infamous, Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. The marine cream is an absolute cult classic and is a beautiful cream for all skin types.
About the Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream
Undoubtedly this is Elemis’ most popular cream. The Elemis marine cream is a powerful anti-ageing cream which helps firm and plum the skin over time with it’s collagen support. The combination of ingredients within this unique formula claim to deliver visible results within just 15 days of use.
You probably already knew that following the age of 25 we start to lose collagen in our skin. This is the main contributor to the signs of ageing. If you would like to learn more about collagen you can read my post here. Don’t panic just yet. There is plenty we can do to reduce the premature signs of ageing. Including wearing SPF, protecting ourselves from free radicals and UV rays with antioxidant products such as Vitamin C. Plus the use of other collagen supporting products such as this, Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. My Review
Like I said above, I cant believe it has taken me this long to write a review on this Elemis moisturiser. This is one of those creams which has a lot of hype surrounding it and with good reason. I found the cream to be a nice texture and not too heavily scented. It is definitely a true cream formula and in my opinion more aimed towards those over 30. Personally I have been using it in my mid-late 20’s and found it pleasant but a bit heavy for a day cream. I have enjoyed using this cream most as a night cream or in the winter due to the heavy weight on the skin. However, if you prefer a thicker cream or you are a little older you may find this fits into your routine perfectly both morning and night. My skin did look noticeably glowing and firm. This cream is £94 for 50ml. Although this is a large jar this is a rather hefty price tag. I would recommend getting yourself a mini to try first before committing to the purchase.

One product from Elemis I cant live without is the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing balm, if you have not yet tried it you can find my opinions here. However having said all of that, I do think this Elemis moisturiser is a nice cream. I would consider re-purchasing in future. But currently I have plenty of other nice moisturisers in my skincare collection that I will be using first.
