Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads Review

Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads Review

If you have been on my site before or you follow me on social media, you will know how much I love Elemis. I regularly struggle with breakouts around my chin and nose around ‘that time of the month’. I also suffer from flaky skin in the colder months and these Pads are a skin saviour. Read on for my Elemis Dynamic resurfacing facial pads review.

What are the Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads?

The Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads are toner soaked textile pads which are designed to gently exfoliate and brighten the skin whilst also reducing the appearance of pores.

One of the highest volume ingredients in the pads is Elemis’ patented Tri-Enzyme Technology. This helps to effectively breakup the layer of dead skin cells on the skin’s surface without compromising your moisture barrier. The pads also contain a probiotic complex. Which promotes the skin’s natural turnover of cells to help reveal glowing more youthful skin and one of my favourite exfoliating ingredients, lactic acid.

Lactic acid is an AHA and one of the more delicate ones as it features larger molecules than some of the other AHA’s such as glycolic acid. This is why lactic acid is one of my favourites. As someone with delicate and fairly sensitive skin; sticking to ingredients like this mean I can maintain using the pads regularly without compromising my delicate skin barrier. Read more about AHA’s here.

When and How to Use the Pads?

The pads are designed to be delicate enough for twice daily use. Personally I use once daily every 2 days as I do have delicate skin. My advice would be to start less regularly, and if your skin can tolerate it, building up to more frequent use.

The Elemis dynamic resurfacing facial pads are designed to be used following cleansing. I would always recommend using my favourite Elemis pro collagen cleansing balm. You can my read my review of the cleansing balm here.

The pads are easy to use. They come in a tub of 60 ready to use. I use 2 pre-soaked pads, one in each hand, starting at the top of my head swiping all over my skin working down to my chin and neck and focussing on areas around my nose, mouth and forehead. Then once I reach the base of my neck I flip the pads over and repeat back in an upwards direction to my forehead again. These are also safe for use on your chest. So it is up to you if you chose to extend your use to your chest too.

My Review

Personally I do really like the Elemis dynamic resurfacing facial pads. I think they are great to pack in your travel bag as you’re ready to go. They also help remove any remaining makeup you may have left following cleansing. Not that you should have if you do double cleanse like me. My skin personally cannot tolerate twice daily use, but they really do perform. They also help clear up my skin quickly when I need it.

The price is a bit spendy. But if you like a more luxurious product that really delivers on it’s claims then it is worth it. 60 pads (1 month use if used as intended) costs £45. Or £36 direct from Elemis using code: ‘ELEMIS20EKB2’. (Please note I may gain a small amount of comission if you use my code or link)
