Kristin Ess Hair Review

Kristin Ess Hair Review

If you want luxury haircare for your specific hair type but without the price tag. I have found the perfect range for you. Kristin Ess hair has launched a series of hair ranges for different hair types and you do not want to miss these. I tried products from the curl range for my wavy/curly hair and if you want to hear my Kristin Ess hair review, keep reading on.

About Kristin Ess Hair

Kristin Ess hair was originally designed not only as affordable luxury haircare but as fantastic stand alone products which can easily be integrated into any hair routine. They are also designed to be equally if not more effective together as a whole range.

I found the products extremely versatile, well-performing and most of all genuinely affordable. They are regularly on offer at Boots and less than £10 when they’re not.

Kristin Ess Curl Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I was kindly gifted the Kristin Ess Moisture rich shampoo and the moisture rich curl conditioner. My experience with both of these products was one of true pleasure. The shampoo was thick and had a rich foaming lather without stripping my hair. The consistency and the rich lather meant a small amount of shampoo went a long way. My husband could testify to this too, as he mentioned how long it had taken to rinse out the shampoo. The conditioner however was something else! I liked the shampoo a lot but the conditioner was the game changer in all of these products. It was thick and subtly scented. The conditioner was perfect for adding that moisture boost to your hair and assisting with detangling. I also felt like the conditioner added weight to the hair too giving some great volume when styling.

I did for the most part use the two products together. However, the conditioner seemed to last and last (not something I will ever complain about) and so I did find it to be very effective even with different shampoo products when this one finished. Both of these products are £10 and well worth the money in my opinion. As I mentioned above they are regularly on offer at Boots so keep your eyes peeled for those deals!

Kristin Ess Styling Products

The two styling products I tried were the Kristin Ess thickening spray and the Air Dry Creme. The thickening cream would be perfect used together with the curl conditioner; because as I mentioned above it adds a lot of thickness and weight to the hair for boosted volume. The thickening spray is perfect for delivering volume and lift when blow drying. I found I got the best results by spritzing a small amount 5-6 pumps to my root area when drying with a barrel brush. Brush from the root upwards for the biggest hair possible. This product also added a small amount of hold. So if you are off the heat tools this would also give a bit of lift and hold to the root even air drying.

The air dry creme is the perfect solution for anyone looking for a 1 product does all or quick on the go hair. The air dry creme works a bit like a leave in conditioner but can be added to the hair when damp. The creme works by assisting with your natural curl/wave pattern whilst taming frizz and adding shine. Without the need for heat styling. This is a real time-saving product. So for anyone looking to cut back on their hair styling time, this should be next on your wishlist.
