There are many subscription beauty boxes on the market now. We don’t know which one’s are worth the money or if any of them are worth the money. Or whether they’re all just hyped up and over priced. I have seen a lot of the subscription boxes across social media but the one that interested me most was Glossy Box. Mainly because of it’s low price and the fabulous limited edition boxes.
How does it work?
From just £11.75 a month (if you sign up for 12 months) or £13.25 a month if you are on the cancel anytime monthly plan. Payment is taken upon subscription and then on the 1st of the month every month after. Dispatches are made on the 5th of every month so you can expect to receive your parcel within 1-3 working days of this date. What do you get in your box?
Each month you get at least 5 products. They range from deluxe sample size to full size products, many of which are from well known brands. The products can be anything from: hair care, skincare, makeup and fragrance.
The boxes boast to contain at least £50 worth of products monthly. Products included can be from some high end brands. Including, 111skin, Caudalie, Elemis, Fenti, Huda Beauty and Illamasqua just to name a few.
The boxes arrive well packaged and wrapped beautifully in tissue paper. They come with a leaflet which includes information about the products. The leaflet includes the retail prices of those products.
Is it worth the money?
Personally I love Glossy Box, I think you get some really fabulous gifts. The value of the box is definitely over the £13.25 monthly price.
I love that you get access to the limited edition boxes first if you are a subscriber. As the limited edition boxes are really good value for money. And to be honest, exciting.
Another perk of glossybox is that if you answer the surveys on the products inside you receive ‘glossy credit’. This can then be spent on look fantastic.
