Dermalogica Precleanse
Dermalogica’s precleanse is the ultimate beauty weapon to remove all makeup, SPF, dirt and debris from the skin. It is cleansing while also nourishing. Fortified with Olive and Kukui oils the oil cleanser melts its way through sebum to sunscreen with ease. The formula includes rice bran and vitamin E making the oil cleanser suitable for the eyes too so say goodbye to stubborn hard to remove waterproof mascara! This makes the perfect first step in a double cleansing routine to prepare the skin for the following second cleanser.
How to Use and Review
This oil cleanser is best used on dry skin, think of when you go for a facial. The facialist doesn’t start your facial by wetting your face so nor should you. One pump is typically enough product but if you have full glam eye makeup too I would recommend two pumps of the cleanser onto clean hands. Gently massage the cleanser onto your face and neck. Making sure to go over areas of congestion i.e. around the nose and chin and stubborn areas. Once massaged and the makeup and SPF is loosened, dampen hands with water and massage into a milky emulsion before rinsing away. I like to remove using a flannel and this adds a form of gently physical exfoliation too.
Personally I adore this cleanser, it smells incredible. If I was to describe the scent I would say it smells just like green starbursts or key lime pie. The scent along with the texture makes using this cleanser a true luxury experience. I think this oil cleanser is at a very reasonable price point as a little goes a long way. I have been using this oil cleanser for several months now and I just love it. Now I can’t see myself ever being without it. It makes lightwork of removing makeup and especially eye makeup. I find it perfect that this can be used on the eyes as it means I don’t need to tug or scrub at my eye skin to remove the stubborn makeup.
