Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant

Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant

From the creators of the coveted daily microfoliant comes the 2in1 hydration and exfoliation masque from Dermalogica. Revolutionary in its transformative formula the Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant is one not to be missed!

Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant

Blended with bamboo; this formula exfoliates the skin whilst hydrating the skin, with by the hero product of the season, snow mushroom. Similar to hyaluronic acid, snow mushroom is capable of holding hundreds of times its own weight in water. (approximately 450x if you were wondering).

This formula is a fluffy creamy consistency similar to buttercream icing but has these touch activated exfoliating spheres incorporated. These spheres can be tailored specifically to your needs and moved to areas of the face which need the exfoliation most. Bursting these spheres provides a sensory experience which releases the bamboo into the areas of the face which most need exfoliation. Gentle manipulation of the spheres and masque can gently hydrate and buff the skin in just 5 minutes.

Application and opinions

Apply a generous amount to a clean face and neck and distribute evenly avoiding the eye areas. If you want tips on cleansing you can find those here. As mentioned above gently move the spheres to the desired areas of the face. To achieve maximum results, with gentle circular motions burst and buff the exfoliating spheres into the skin. Leave the masque for 3-5 minutes voila picture perfect skin!

Use once or twice a week to maintain hydrated skin. Additionally for further hydration leave the mask a few minutes longer. Personally I love the formula and I find the customisation part fun and beneficial. A single tube contains around 12 uses and costs £55. I think it is extremely unique and combines two of the most desired outcomes from a masque in a short time. Ultimately making it the perfect go-to for those with busy lives.
