The original ‘PINK’ Scent

Soap and glory love all things pink, as you may have noticed. Rose oil is their main constituent making up that fragrance. They own land in Grasse in France which grows roses especially for their products and they harvest approximately 70kg of rose petals a day!

My Top Picks

Firstly I just have to praise soap and Glory for their amazing pun names for all of the products. If the name of the product isn’t a pun there is one on the side of the packaging.

It really does make beauty fun and gives their brand so much personality.

1. The Righteous Body Butter

This award winning body butter is packed with shea butter and aloe vera. I can instantly tell why it is award winning. on the lightweight-heavy spectrum this one falls somewhere in the middle. But it does soak in quickly. It smells absolutely delicious and you can smell it as soon as you open the pot.

It is really affordable, it costs £10 for a 300ml tub. Although it is fragranced this has worked for me with my sensitive skin. I don’t think their products claim to be good for sensitive skin but I’ve not had any problems with it.

2. Hand Food

It is unusal for me to pick and hand cream as a top pick for a brand however, this one really is perfect. I like to keep a hand cream on my desk at work. I like to moisturise my hands everytime I wash them, because I am so susceptible to dryness.

This cream is non-greasy. Its is lightweight. It soaks in quickly and it is heavenly fragranced like the body butter but just a little sweeter. Again this product contains shea butter, are we starting to see a trend? I do love shea butter I have always found it works with my skin. This hand cream again is super affordable and costs just £5.50 for 125ml.

3. Thick and Fast HD Mascara

Firstly, I must admit that I have not used many of their makeup products, I wasn’t a huge fan of the sexy mother pucker lip gloss, i just found it a little sticky but I loved the colour. I really like their eye liner pencil too, it is so creamy and applies to your waterline perfectly.

The reason I have chosen this mascara is because it really is lengthening, a true black shade not grey and has a really nice brush that doesn’t clump up. Something I really hate about mascara is when you add additional coats it becomes claggy, too thick and makes your lashes look like spider’s legs. This isn’t a good look on anyone.

This mascara boasts to have added collagen which is supposed to be strength building for your lashes. Personally I don’t think I can comment on whether my lashes are stronger but I do think this is a really, well priced mascara. This costs just £10.50.

This soap and glory body butter is fairly new to my body butter collection but another body butter I’m loving at the moment is the Liz Earle one, you can find my opinions on this here.

Something else I really like about this brand is their packaging is pretty and pink and is super instagrammable.
