Silk and Bubble Hair Growth Mask

Silk and Bubble Hair Growth Mask

Silk and bubble may be a brand that you’ve heard of but never thought to try because they only have one product. Or perhaps you’ve only just heard of them now, either way they’re worth checking out. Their Hair growth mask is known for a reason.

I was kindly gifted a full size tub of the hair mask which retails at £30 for 215ml. This is quite a generous size tub and the mask itself smells absolutely gorgeous.

First Impressions

They say first impressions are everything. As I mentioned above; you open the jar and the first thing you notice is the fragrance. It is a light scent but really pleasant and boasting with coconut goodness. The hair growth mask contains coconut, aloe and fig. So you can imagine the delightful scent. At First I thought this was a very lightweight but nourishing hair mask. It has deep conditioning effects without the added weight and volume which is perfect for me with thicker hair. I did think however you had to use quite a lot of product which is a shame considering the cost of it but the other initial thoughts were good.

After Extended Use of the Hair Growth Mask

I used this whole jar in around 2 months using it once weekly so that’s 8 masks for £30 working out £3.75 per mask. Which I don’t think this is too bad. The mask made your hair most certainly softer and nourished. I don’t think the mask did a lot for my frizz. But I am yet to find a product which makes a significant impact on my frizz. I cannot comment on whether I thought my hair grew faster using this hair growth mask however; I have had my hair cut twice in this period and yet, had numerous comments from colleagues mentioning how long my hair looked. And of course, they see me daily.

If you like hair masks and want others to try too. Check out my post featuring the Josh Wood Colour Mask.
