Lily and Loaf Skincare

I was kindly gifted three products from Lily and Loaf. The daily delicate facial lotion, the bedtime revitalising cream and my favourite of all 3; the repair and renew bio active oil. With Mother’s Day just around the corner. I believe these three would all make fabulous gifts for mums but especially the bedtime cream. Because I think it could be used as both a night and day cream for those with older skin.

My Opinions

The bio active oil is bursting with essential oils which is relaxing whilst delivering deeply nourishing and lightweight oil to the skin. This in my opinion is easily added into any skincare routine following your serum, morning or night. The oil came in a glass bottle with a dropper top. I loved that the packaging felt very expensive and luxurious. Yet the product really delivers at a pretty affordable price point. I love that it is also deigned for the body to help deliver nourishment whilst removing the signs of scarring and cellulite. I have been using this oil for 2/3 weeks; however have not seen any noticeable difference in scars and cellulite yet; but my skin does feel deeply nourished.

The day lotion and night cream both came in a lightweight pump top bottle making it perfect for travel and at home alike. The daily lotion is fairly light to moderate consistency and sinks into the skin readily. above all what I liked most about the day cream is that it created a nourished and even surface. Perfect for makeup application.

The bedtime cream was a little heavier in consistency yet not too heavy. I believe this would be nourishing for older skin as a day cream too as it wasn’t too heavy. This makes a nice evening cream for locking in moisture for those in their 20-40’s. In other words a good universal cream which costs just £28.95 for 50ml. It features shea butter, coconut and evening primrose making it beautifully scented and weighted.

(NOTE the coconut content in both the day and night creams for those with allergies)

The bottom Line

Finally, would I buy this skincare if I hadn’t been gifted it? Yes 110%, I absolutely adore the facial oil. It smells just like the Elemis pro-collagen cleansing balm which you all know I love. But it was deeply nourishing, non irritating and affordable. I would buy the bedtime cream too like I said above, I think it is a universally great moisturiser which can be interchangeably used as desired.
