KVD beauty is known for their edgy, sexy, rock chic makeup looks. In my opinion they are most well known for their thick, black, smoldering eye makeup. However this KVD dagger liner can be used to achieve toned down or amped up liner alike.
KVD Dagger liner
Debenhams Beauty Club kindly gifted me the KVD Dagger liner as part of the ” New On You” scheme.
The new innovative liner tip is designed with a 30 degree angle, and a fine tipped brush for easy liner application. I find the winged liner difficult to master, but this brush is specifically designed for for creating the perfect wing. Whether you’re a novice or a full blown beauty junkie this liner is fab. The Liner comes in the shade ‘Trooper Black’ and is a true black colour so there is no need to build up multiple layers.
The Application
As I mentioned above, the shape of the brush is designed to create the perfect Cat eye.
I found the liner easy to use, the fine tip is perfect for creating a straight and thin line across the lash line for a classic look. Pointing the highest part of the brush downward, drag the brush in a straight line outward. Using this technique the perfect flick can be mastered. This eye liner dries quickly so there is no need to keep your eye closed while it dries.
This eye liner is easy to build with multiple layers for a thicker liner or for a bold line which stays put all night. I must admit the liner is long wearing, without smudging even from a single thin line. It is truly waterproof but readily removed using your favourite eye makeup remover.
Would I recommend it?
Long and short of it, yes I would recommend it because I would say that I believe this has been designed most specifically for beauty novices. It helps create a winged liner and is really quick for everyday eye makeup looks. This is suitable for a novice and beauty experts alike.
I’m not a vegan but I love that KVD are solely vegan beauty making it accessible to everyone. Find more of my vegan beauty favourites here.
