Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish – First Impressions

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish – First Impressions

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish must be 2018’s most wanted facial cleaner. It has been all over social media.

If you’re reading this now it probably means you were like me and were one of those people who were interested in this product but didn’t invest because you already has a cleanser you loved.

Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

Presented with over 125 awards, the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser is enriched with cocoa butter to relieve dehydrated skin and is designed to remove grime, makeup and pollutants from the skin.

My experience with this is a feeling of comfortable and thoroughly cleansed skin and with the added bonus of the cleanser itself smells amazing.

The hot cloth part to me makes it feel like a luxurious treatment. Wiping the warm soaping facial cloth across your face at the end of the day is the ultimate way to wind down.

Instant Boost Skin Tonic

The second step of your evening 3 step skin care is the Instant boost skin tonic.

This skin tonic is infused with multiple naturally active ingredients. One of those ingredients includes the currently much loved calendula, so if you love this product you might also want to try a Kiehls  product because they are true lovers of calendula too.

Skin Repair Moisturiser

This moisturiser comes with two choices either the dry/sensitive moisturiser or the normal/combination one.

Maybe this product isn’t the best choice for someone with an oily skin type because there isn’t a specific range for this skin type. Personally I am not a huge fan of this product. I bought the normal/combination one. My first impressions of the product was that it is quite thick and heavy on the skin. I would recommend this to someone over the age of 40 who feels they need added anti-aging properties. But in my opinion this moisturiser isn’t great for youthful skin.

I wasn’t a massive fan of the smell of this product either. I thought the smell of the cleanse and polish and the skin tonic was pleasant but this one wasn’t for me. However, if you like floral scents and thicker moisturisers this one might be right up your street.

I bought this set in a smaller trial size collection from boots and You can buy it here.
