If you’re at all like me, you probably like to try your beauty and skincare before you take the plunge and make the purchase of the often expensive, full size items. Sephora UK offer the unique experience of being able to select beauty sample sizes either for free, or a small fee.
Personally I love being able to try before you buy, this way I already have a good idea of whether I am going to like the products before I make purchases. There is nothing worse than wasting money on products you don’t like or wont use.
Five Free Minis – Try Before You Buy Makeup and Skincare
Like I mentioned above, Sephora UK offer the opportunity to select 5 free beauty minis to try before you buy. You only have to pay the £3.95 shipping fee. The added bonus is that the £3.95 is also redeemable against other products online but you cant use it for free shipping.
This 5 free minis deal (pick ‘n’ mix) is available on a monthly basis. You can get it anytime throughout the month however if you ordered on the 28th of the month for example, you cannot get another selection until the 28th of the next month. I have taken advantage of this deal multiple times. I think it is a great way to try out products, plus the minis are not all just a sachet.

Five Deluxe Samples for £13.95
Sephora UK also host their own beauty subscription box. But different to other subscription boxes, you have the ability to select which product you wish to receive yourself. The subscription box is similar to the freebies, however the sample sizes are more generous and it costs up to £13.95 plus the £3.95 shipping fee.
This box, gets cheaper per month if you subscribe to it for 3, 6 or 12 months. Currently when you sign up to 12 months it costs, £11.95 per month with your first box being only £2.95. It is the perfect to try the makeup and skincare you want before you buy. This isn’t the best value for money subscription box by any means, however this is one of the only boxes where you get to select the items yourself. The shipping fee is also redeemable against full size products on the site again as above after you have tried them.
The beauty box also comes with a complimentary makeup pouch.
