SBC, simply beautiful collection are a worldwide body care brand which began their story over 25 years ago in Britain. SBC pride themselves on being packed full of naturally active ingredients. They have been branded Eco-friendly. Due to their minimal packaging, and no animal testing from the very beginning of the brand.
Enriched with natural ingredients SBC make products which are effective and affordable but also gave you a feeling of luxury at home. They have a huge range of products all categorised for every skin type. You most likely know them for these specific problem-skin challenging ranges.
Washes and Cleansers
So I was ever so kindly gifted these body products from SBC themselves. They sent my the collagen 3 in 1 cleanser and the citrus caviar and mandarin shampoo and body wash.
The cleanser can be used both on the face and on the body. It is perfect used as a cream cleanser to remove makeup, it is good as a second cleanse as a deep cleanser although i must admit I preferred it as a makeup remover. And you can use it on the body too. The ingredients include vitamin E, shea and cocoa butters. Thus making it great for hydration and it doesn’t leave your skin tight or dry.
The Mandarin body wash and shampoo is great and foaming up, a little goes a long way. This zesty and awakening body wash is fabulous for revitalising the skin and the mind. Personally I found it perfect for a morning pick me up or to help me get through the rest of the day following a work out! The smell is absolutely divine. unfortunately I did not try it on my hair because my hair is coloured and I was afraid it might draw out some of the colour. Honestly, I was very impressed and they’re both so affordable.
Body Care Lotions
So above I called these ‘Lotions’, but they are in fact named skincare gels. I actually feel like the description, gel is exactly how the product feels. These body gels are exceptionally lightweight and glide on easily. They are however, heavily scented. Although, I didn’t find them irritating at all and I do have sensitive skin. The two skincare gels I was gifted was the coconut and plumeria shimmer skincare gel and the cinnamon and chai glimmer skincare gel.
The coconut one is absolutely to die for! It is virtually colourless on the skin and has a hint of added shimmer making it perfect for your body before going out when you’re baring your arms or legs. The smell is amazing but I might be a little biased. I think coconut is my favourite scent when it comes to body, hair and skin care products. Personally I would use and repurchase this time and time again.
The cinnamon and chai one as I mentioned above is heavily scented. It smells like a christmas candle it is a heavenly scent but I found it a little overpowering. The gel is slightly tan in colour, it doesn’t tan your skin but gives you a luminous glow. This is therefore also a perfect choice when your getting your legs on display. This gel also has some added shimmer and looks beautiful especially on summery, tanned skin with a natural healthy glow. If you like a little shimmer on your evening nights with a cocktail this body gel is perfect for you!
