Morphe Cosmetics is well known for its huge array of well priced, high quality makeup products. Probably most well known for their range of 35 shade eye shadow palettes.
Morphe has always been a makeup brand I have been aware of, but have never felt like my makeup skills were good enough to invest in a full 35 shade eye shadow palette. Jaclyn is a U.S based, super stylish and crazy talented makeup artist. She started off working on beauty counters with a huge passion for makeup and developed her skills both in the workplace and at home. She now has well over 5 Million Youtube Subscribers and her platform is still growing.
The Palette
This eye shadow palette as mentioned above features 35 different eye shadows. Comprising of both shimmer and matte powders. The colours have an immense pay-off and really high quality texture.
The texture of the shadows in this palette is far greater than the texture in previous older palettes. Since the creation of this palette which was some time ago, Morphe have really stepped up their game and made all of their palettes better quality.
The packaging of this palette is pretty on the outside but is made of card unlike the other Morphe palettes which are plastic. Although this may be a more sustainable choice, it becomes dirty easily and it is not easy to clean. Despite this the shadows are amazing and blend beautifully.
Personally I would say that this palette includes colours most suited to every day wear which is perfect for me. There are some stand out colours in there too which can be combined with the more muted colours to create a more vibrant look if that is something you would like to go for too.
I think that the shimmer colours have an amazing pay-off compared to other brands, there is absolutely no need to add water to your brush to get the shimmers to give that added dimension you’re looking for. If you’re sold on this palette already or would like to see more you can find it here.
