As you may already know I am a massive fan of Dermalogica. If you don’t know who they are they are a brand founded by a skin therapist to create custom skin solutions for life. They offer professional grade products, services and education and have been doing so since 1986. Thus making them my go to brand for any skincare product. My dry and sensitive skin can make it difficult to find a great product that I won’t have a reaction to. But so far Dermalogica’s products have delivered every time. The Dermalogica Neck fit contour serum is no different and stay tuned for my review of this serum.

What Does the Dermalogica Neck Fit Contour Serum Do?
The Dermalogica neck fit contour serum is designed to act as a skincare workout for the neck and décolleté. Used in conjunction with the built in roller applicator; the neck fit serum trains the skin in the neck area to be tighter, firmer and more toned in just 12 weeks. This serum contains a unique tri-peptide formula which mimics the results of a retinol; whilst protecting the skin from pollution and reducing the signs of ageing.
How to Use the Neck Fit Serum
As I mentioned above the serum comes with a built in roller applicator which is metal making it instantly cooling to the touch. The tube also comes with a handy open/close functionality which means less wastage and makes it safe to travel with too.
Turn the applicator to open and tilt the chin up and roll the applicator all over the neck and décolleté in an upwards motion from the chest to the jawline. Gently squeeze the tube whilst initially applying to dispense the serum and turn to closed when enough product is dispensed and continue to roll in an upward motion massaging the serum into the skin. This serum can be used twice daily and remembering to include your chest is a must!
Who Needs the Neck Fit Contour Serum?
So perhaps you’re in your 20’s and reading this post and wondering whether this serum is for you? Well preventative antiaging is definitely preferential to responsive skincare. Being pro-active about your skin routine now will help slow the signs of ageing later. However if you are of a more mature skin it is never too late to start protecting your skin and restoring some of its youthfulness.
These days we use our phones far more than we ever did, not only is your neck one of the tell-tale locations for showing your age but is more likely to form creases and folds over time from looking down at our electronic devices for extended periods. Basically what I am saying is, if you care about your skin this is for you!
My Review
My first impressions of this serum were positive. The serum is really lightweight and almost a gel formula. The serum sinks into the skin easily and I noticed an instant tightening feeling. I think that this serum is a really lovely texture. I love the packaging in the squeeze tube meaning that you can use every last drop of the product. Not only that the open/close function is a favourite of mine. I love that this is possible it makes it easier when massaging with the tool but also means its perfect for holidays and when you’re on the go. No more leaks in the bottom of your gym bag!
The Dermalogica Neck Fit Contour serum costs £75. Due to its unique formulation and applicator, I would say it is worth the money. Normally I would be hesitant to spend this much again on a neck product. Especially, when I consider all serums and moisturisers suitable for the neck. I like that this is designed specifically for the neck and targets all of the needs for your neck.
