If you are trying to achieve glowing from within skin, then vitamin C is definitely an ingredient to search for! Dermalogica create the best in class skincare that delivers. The Dermalogica Biolumin C serum is no different. You’re provided with everything you would expect with a vitamin C serum and more. Keep reading for my Dermalogica Biolumin C serum review. For transparency, this serum was received as PR.
The Vitamin C Serum
The Dermalogica Biolumin C serum is a high performance serum developed to provide all of the results you would expect from a regular vitamin C serum; Such as a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, fighting oxidative stress and reducing the signs of ageing before they even begin. On top of all of that, this serum has been formulated with peptides and AHAs to provide firmness and brighter skin too.
The Biolumin C serum is part of the Age Smart range which is targeted at anyone over 25. As unfortunately that is when our natural rate of collagen production starts to decline. The age smart range prevents the early onset of the signs of ageing. Part of this same collection is the Biolumin C eye serum which I adore.
This serum retails at £81.50 for 30ml but you can get it for £65.21 at look fantastic here with code ‘STEELCITYMISS’ at checkout! That’s 20% off!
Biolumin C Serum Review
Something I love about a vitamin c serum is the ability to incorporate it into your routine both morning and night. So if you’re looking to achieve bright glowing skin this is something I would 100% recommend. When establishing your skincare routine it can feel overwhelming knowing what to spend your money on. But a good serum is key! I think this one is perfect for those of you only wanting to buy one serum.
This serum is easily incorporated into your routine following your single or double cleanse and toner. This serum is my opinion is light weight but provides hydration, and brightness. My skin almost instantly looks glowing but you will see real results within 6-8 weeks of use. The serum has no real scent, and causes zero irritation on my sensitive skin. This serum is suitable for all skin types. But I think dry and combination skin types will enjoy this most. With the addition of glycerine to draw water into the skin and lactic acid to gently exfoliate. If you’re not sure of your skin type find my quick guide to determining your skin type here.
I have tried a few other Dermalogica products which I already know and love. You can find my winter Dermalogica skin routine here.
