Beauty Blogger Meetup at Miller and Carter

Beauty Blogger Meetup at Miller and Carter

This Meetup ever so kindly organised by a lovely fellow beauty blogger also based in Yorkshire. This meet up in my opinion was the ultimate meet up. It was an opportunity to make new beauty blogger friends. Talk about beauty (if you didn’t already know, I love makeup and skincare!). And eat at my favourite restaurant, Miller and Carter.

If you would like to meet the gorgeous, super organised beauty blogger who organised this event you can find her here.

Miller and Carter Doncaster

If you don’t know what Miller and Carter is, it’s a steak house restaurant chain. They are well known for their steak experience. If you would love to know more about this (because why wouldn’t you?) you can find out about my previous experiences here.

Miller and Carter have also recently been awarded from the Craft Guild of Chefs an award for the masters of steak. In other words, the steak is awesome there.

6 of us gathered together at Miller and Carter for Sunday lunch. On a Sunday Miller and Carter do an amazing deal. You can get three courses from a set menu for just £25.95. The steak experience is included in this deal however, some of of the more prime cuts come with additional supplement charge.

The Food

The food as always, was incredible. Such high quality with amazing service too. I had the three course set menu for just £25.95. So if you’re hungry right now, you might want to skip these images. I’m going to show you what I chose.

For starters I had the garlic and cheese mushrooms which came with toasted bread sticks and gorgeously garnished. The garlic mushrooms are a great light choice for starter. You will thank me when you get to the dessert.

After that, I had the Rump steak as recommended, medium rare. Miller and Carter advise a cooking time for all their steaks so you can gain the most from the flavour and quality of the cut. I have not been disappointed yet. My Steak arrived with fries, the buttermilk and crouton dressing on my iceberg wedge and of course the Beef Dripping Sauce.

Beef Dripping Sauce

Yes, this sauce needs a whole section of its own! This has got to be the best steak sauce I have ever tasted. Similarly, I don’t think there is any way you would not like this sauce! It is tasty, lightly salted and truly dreamy. Since trying the beef dripping sauce I have never had a different steak sauce at Miller and Carter, for the fear of missing out on this sauce.

When we were there I advised the girls who didn’t know which sauce to pick; but they all selected the beef dripping sauce on my recommendation. And as I imagined, not one of them was disappointed!

To Finish it all off I had the peach and passion fruit Eton mess. Expectantly, this was delicious, sweet and rich. I couldn’t have ate one bite more!

Beauty Bloggers

Together, we chatted all things beauty and skincare. We talked about the products we loved and loathed. Recent product launches and future events. Furthermore, we chatted about our blogs and shared tips on growing your audience and social media following. I truly loved the day. Finally, To top it all of Kathryn had arranged a selection of goodies to be gifted to us all from a range of brands and PR agencies, The mass of products was incredible.
