Miller and Carter steakhouse is somewhere I had heard good things about and had read many positive reviews. I also knew it wasn’t a cheap night out.
It is the perfect place for a special meal; a birthday, anniversary or if you just really fancy a good steak.
The Service
The service at Miller and Carter was second to none. There was nothing that was too much hassle for the staff.
Being our first time at Miller and Carter they explained the full menu to us, and told us how to get the best from our Steaks.
They recommended that we had our meals the way they are recommended in the menu because that is how they are best served. Let me just say now, I was not disappointed.
The ‘Steak Experience’ aka. The Food
Let me start with what is included when you order a steak. All of the steaks on the menu are at least 30 days aged and are served to your preference.
The Steaks come with parsley butter, seasoned fries, beef tomato, a steak sauce of choice. Served with a generous helping of onion loaf. To add to ‘the experience’ and to fully appreciate the flavour. The steaks are served with a iceberg lettuce wedge with a choice of dressing.
If you’re like me and you’re a sweet potato lover, you can upgrade your fries to sweet potato fries.
There are other choices on the menu including fish, sharing platters and burgers but for me this was a steak house experience. There was only one choice; and the steak truly is to die for.
The Drink Selection
The drinks are fabulous and served in delicate glassware to be envious of.
There is a range of cocktail favourites to choose from and a selection of gins. They have their own range of ‘G&T with a twist’, and a good selection of ales, beer and ciders too. However, if you are a wine lover for instance, you’re in for a treat with an extensive wine menu.
The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable of the wine menu. They are also more than willing to help you select the best wine to your taste, and to enhance the flavour of your steak.

The Verdict
I here you asking, is it worth the price tag? Hell Yes!
Personally this was the best steak I’ve ever eaten. As a result I feel like the experience was wonderful. Boasting a sumptuous and lavish atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and fantastic food; so what isn’t there to love?
