If 2019 beauty wasn’t ruled by Huda Beauty, I don’t know what made the top spot. Especially across social media Huda Beauty Obsessions palettes were everywhere. Those are the 9 shade highly pigmented eye shadow palettes if you don’t know what I’m talking about. I don’t know about you but, I loved the look of those palettes but the price tag put me off a little. I think I may have found the perfect Coral obsessions dupe.
Huda Beauty Obsessions Palettes
So If you have been living under a rock, and still don’t know what I am talking about. Huda Kattan the Iraqi-American makeup artist come entrepreneur is the founder of Huda Beauty the brand in question. The 2019 launches of the Obsessions palettes which really have become and obsession for beauty junkies to collect have now reached a whopping 15 palette range. Each palette features a different colour story from super wearable browns and oranges to bright bold blues and neon yellows.
The palettes as mentioned above feature 9 shades of highly pigmented and blendable eye shadows at a retail price of £25-£27. This price seems a little steep to me given the amount I wear eye shadow and the limited shade range compared to other eye shadow palettes at a similar price point.
If you love a good eye shadow palette check out my opinions on the Jacyln Hill X Morphe Vol1 Palette.
STYLondon Coral Obessions Dupe
The Huda beauty Coral obsessions palette is a 9 pan palette as mentioned above. The coral palette features, reds, corals and yellow tones as you would expect (pictured above, top). The STYLondon Devil velvet touch palette is no different featuring similar shades (pictured above, bottom). Making it an amazing Coral obsessions dupe. Matching the Huda palette the STYLondon one features 2 shimmer shades and 7 matte shades.
The STYLondon shadows are buttery and highly pigmented, they blend out easily and is perfect for eye looks taking you from day to night. I got my STYLondon palette in my october Glossybox. You can find more on my opinions of glossybox here. But otherwise it retails at just £15 which is a whopping £10 cheaper than its competitor.
