You may have noticed that I occasionally am #gifted products as either PR samples or in exchange for a review. A lot of these “gifts” that I receieve are not only for “bloggers/influencers” but are available to anyone. Yes that means YOU can get free makeup, skincare and fragrances. Im going to give you a quick overview of a few of the best ways to get beauty freebies.
Glamour Beauty Club Freebies
Glamour Beauty club is part of Glamour magazine. Anyone can sign up to glamour beauty club, you don’t need a following, you don’t need to complete a huge rigorous questionnaire to get involved. It is simple straight forward and best of all FREE! You just wait for the freebies to land on your doorstep.
With the Glamour beauty club you will be sent an e-mail informing you that you have been ‘chosen’ to trial a product. they can be anything from a sample size, deluxe mini, full size product or even a collection of full sizes. But when you receive this e-mail you must click to say send me the products and then you wait.
The freebies arrive pretty quickly, and in exchange all they ask is that you complete a quick 5 minute survey. Worth it for gifts in my opinion. You can find out more and sign up here.
Debenhams Beauty Freebies
Debenhams actually offer a couple of opportunities to bag yourself a freebie. They’re all free to sign up and no reviews required.
Debenhams Beauty Club Card.
You use this in store to collect points which over an amount of months and beauty purchases you gain money off vouchers. But not only that, signing up to this card even if you don’t ever make any beauty purchases from Debenhams offer their card holders monthly freebies to try.
One Friday each month you can go into store with your card and claim the free gift. You must tick the box to get the e-mails to know which Friday this is, but then just head to store and claim your gift. You can sign up to the beauty card here.
Plus you also get free delivery on online beauty purchases using codes recieved in your monthly statements. My favourite part however is, the free facial, nails and brow wax and tint on your birthday month. The Debenhams Beauty card is well worth signing up to.
Debenhams Beauty Community
Debenhams have recently launched an online community for beauty lovers. You may have heard me mention this previously, when I recieved a free full size Kat Von D Dagger Liner. You can find my blog post about this here.
The online community gives you chances to win prizes by entering competitions and challenged, earn prizes from contributing to the community and entering for the opportunity to test a new Debenhams Beauty launch Via the ‘New On You’ scheme. This is how I got the Kat Von D liner.
So yes this does all come down to chance but there aren’t that many people in the community and if you’re the type of person to enter an instagram or facebook giveaway you have far more chance of being chosen for one of these that winning a giveaway on social media. Find out more and sign up here.
Online Review Panels
Don’t worry I am not about to send you off to one of those ‘review panels’ that claim to offer you the chance to win freebies in exchange for reviews and all you ever recieve it spammy e-mails.
There are some legitimate online review panels you can sign up to. If you have a following (i.e. you have a reasonable presence on social media/ you’re a blogger/ instagrammer yourself) you may be more likely to be chosen for these opportunities but you’re certainly not ruled out if not.
Skin Chemists London
The first one is the skin chemists review panel. This panel is UK based and available for anyone. You can sign up and you receive either free or heavily discounted products in exchange for reviews. The shipping is tracked and speedy and personally I think well worth signing up to. You can find out more and sign up here.
Pixi Beauty and Unicorn Cosmetics
Pixi recently, has truly grown and their social media presence seems to have really exploded and reached a massive new high. Unicorn cosmetics is another brand reaching across the social media platforms far and wide. these two brands offer a reviewer program too, however the Pixi one requires info about your social media presence to be selected. I have not been chosen but don’t let this put you off trying. You can sign up to that here.
Unicorn cosmetics, have some gorgeous rainbow, irridescent and metallic products, brushes and packaging. It is truly gorgeous and they offer a revie program to MUA’s. Again I don’t fit into this category, however if you do you can sign up here.
I hope you found this post helpful and you gain some freebies for yourself from this, let me know in the comments below if you have signed up to anything and please let me know how you get on by tagging me on social media sharing your freebies!
