As you may already be aware, October is breast cancer awareness month. When it comes to charity we usually want to do our bit. We can donate cash if were in a position to do so but in recent years the ways in which we can help raise funds and awareness have grown. I thought I would share with you some beauty products which help beat breast cancer.
Evelyn Lauder, as in Estee Lauder companies was the co-founder of the pink ribbon we all know as the symbol for breast cancer awareness. She founded this back in 1992 and since then the Lauder franchise have done their bit to help raise money. Some other beauty brands have got on the band wagon too with the likes of Elemis and Revitalash. Asda also have their own tickled pink range which ranges from pink George pajamas and slippers right through to diet coke cans and Helmann’s mayonaise bottles with pink labels.
Estee Lauder Breast Cancer Campaign Advanced Night Repair
If You have been a follower of this blog for any period of time you would know I am a lover of the advanced night repair serum. So much that I have 2 full bottles at home. This serum is perfect for boosting hydration, locking in moisture and helping maintain youthful glowing skin along side your body clock. Helping you wake with gorgeous skin. If you want to read my full review of this product you can find that here.
Bobbi Brown Pinks with Purpose
Bobbi Brown lippies have been products that have somehow eluded me over the past few years. I have not in fact tried any of their lipsticks which is a shame because the shade ranges that they have are fabulous. But these gorgeous pink lipsticks are not only insta-worthy they are also helping support a great cause. If you are looking for a glam lipstick look no further, here are some of my favourites.
Elemis Limited Edition Supersize Pro- Collagen Marine Cream.
Pro-Collagen Marine Cream is another steel city favourite. Last year I treated myself to the Elemis advent calendar which came with a full size of the marine cream in door no. 25. This cream is really lovely, it is thick and great for holding in the moisture especially during the more dry winter months. If you want a full description of what this product can do for you, find out more about collagen here. Elemis however are pledging a donation to breast cancer for October regardless of sales on this product. So if you already love it or you want to try it out and do your bit for breast cancer at the same time, I would definitely give this cream a try.
La Mer Breast Cancer Campaign Treatment Lotion
La Mer as you might already know is an exceptionally luxe brand. They are part of Estee Lauder Companies but it is a brand I have not yet invested in. As it is in fact an investment some of these products are expensive. However, if you know you already love this product or you are needing a new treatment lotion in your stash, now is a great time to invest as part of their beauty profits are donated to breast cancer charities.
