Summer is finally here, or it is at least here in the UK. We have sunshine and we all want to look and feel our best when the sun it out with radiant makeup-free skin and getting our freshly polished toes out. I have heard great things about the Beauty Pro Face masks and foot mask so I thought I would buy the trio from LookFantastic and try them out.
Detoxifying Cleansing Mask
I have seen many hilarious photographs across most social media platforms of these ‘bubble masks’ I thought it looked fun and like it would prove for some good photos. The Beauty Pro bubbling cleansing sheet mask with activated charcoal mask claims to be a ‘bubble mask’ and winning the Pure beauty awards 2017, I was excited to try it out.
When I opened the packaging I was shocked to see the sheet mask was in fact black in colour. The mask was easy to use; position it on your face, massage the mask a little, wait 10 minutes and then its ready for removal a quick rinse of your face and wow!
The verdict
This one is not to be missed! If you have not tried this mask you need to. I do not suffer with black heads or acne which it claims to help, however my face has never ever felt so clean! My face felt renewed I had a beautiful glow. This is the perfect face mask before a night out or a holiday to give you that fresh face glow.
Foot and Callus Peel
Recently I have noticed this recent trend especially now it is coming up to summer for a ‘foot peel’. For those of you that havnt seen videos like this floating around. It is like a face mask but for your feet with claims of baby soft feet after just 7 days. The Beauty Pro Foot and Callus Peel has been ‘highly commended’by the OK! beauty awards, knowing this I gave it a shot.
So Upon opening the packaging you will find one huge sheet which is actually both feet in one. You need scissors to separate the two. You open them from the top where you have snipped and slip your feet in and fasten around your ankles. Then all you have to do is wait 120 minutes and voila.
By day 5 I had noticed no changes what so ever and started to think it wasn’t going to work for me. After a long soak in the bath that night the peel began. Small pieces of skin started coming away it took over three weeks for the skin peel to be complete. I personally found that the peel took longer than I would have liked. But fortunately it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin at all.
The verdict
I thought it was very good for the price. It did what it said on the tin however, I will doubt I would use it again. It seemed to take a long time to peel and needed a foot file daily.
Under eye Mask
As it is a trio, the final mask is the Beauty Pro under eye mask with collagen and green tea extract
This sachet came with 3 sets enclosed which is fantastic for the £4.95 price tag. I used my first set of eye masks after my face mask. I found that they were super easy to apply, and you wait only 20 minutes. Just be careful not to place them too close to your eyes; but overall was impressed with the results.
The verdict
My under eye skin definitely felt softer and more supple after using the eye mask. They added to the radiant glow and I am sure if wrinkles were my problem they would help. I am just hoping to maintain good skin condition and try to postpone the onset of wrinkles. These definitely added to the overall feeling of a luxury pamper session.
