As you all know, acid toners are one of the must-have products in any skincare lover’s collection. The Alpha-H liquid Gold glycolic acid toner was one I kept seeing again and again across social media. I knew once I saw the results online I had to add this to my stash too. As someone with sensitivity I don’t always reach for a glycolic acid product but this one, I reached for every couple of days until it ran out. This is one of those products I used religiously and instantly missed once it was finished.
Alpha-H Liquid Gold
The Alpha-H Liquid Gold is a 5% glycolic acid toner gently exfoliates to reveal brighter, decongested and even skin. The liquid gold also contains silk proteins which prevents trans-epidermal water loss, protecting the skin from the environment and dehydration. The liquorice root extract within the solution is a soothing antioxidant which regulates melanin production; and assists in reducing pigmentation. The final star ingredient in this formula is glycerin which is a powerful humectant perfect for drawing moisture into the skin and keeping you plump, hydrated and glowing.
How to Use
As acid toners have a low pH and this one is a little lower than typical acids too, so for that reason you should only use the Alpha-H liquid gold on alternate evenings (up to 3 times per week).
After cleansing you should apply 5-6 drops onto a clean and dry cotton pad and sweep across face and neck avoiding the eye area. Do not follow with other products until touch dry. Once dry apply a hydrating serum and moisturiser to enhance the affects and soothe any sensitivity.

Here is my Alpha-H Liquid Gold review, it comes with 100ml for £30.25 which I don’t think is a bad price. I loved every minute of using this product it was great even on my sensitive skin. I did chose to use this just 2x per week because I don’t like to over-use acid toners however it was still very effective and definitely delivered bright and even skin.
After just a few uses, my skin was already looking exfoliated and brightened. The main pitfall is how quickly I got through the bottle. I would definitely re-purchase and look forward to using it again soon.
